What Happens During the Screening?

A brief dental screening

A qualified dental professional will carry out a simple visual examination of your child's teeth, gums and overall oral health.

Key concerns are noted

We look for existing or potential concerns that may benefit from further attention, including oral hygiene, dental decay and developing dental issues.

Age-appropriate guidance

Young people are encouraged to better understand their oral health and develop healthier habits.

What Parents Should Know

  • The screening will be conducted within the school premises. Your child will not be required to leave the school campus.
  • The screening is conducted using sterilised instruments and standard infection-control protocols.
  • This is a non-invasive physical dental screening only. No medication, gel, anaesthetic or treatment will be administered during the screening.
  • Parents are under no obligation to seek treatment at DentOp Dental Care if any treatment is suggested following the screening.

What Happens Next?
